Arriving on foot

Rieneck is situated in the Sinngrund nature reserve, part of the Spessart nature park. The best way to experience the castle's unspoiled surrroundings is to take your time and walk there. The area offers the walker a wide choice of paths. The Castle can be approached from Burgsinn to the North or, to the South, from Gemünden am Main.
