Tower Tour

This activity is one definitely not to be missed. Every year we give tower tours to more than 2500 guests and this is by far our most popular program item.

The castle has more than 900 years of eventful history behind it and inside our almost original main tower the “Thick Tower” you will hear about the castle’s history and legends by candle light. We aim to take you back to the middle ages and let you experience it in ‘full colour’

It goes without saying that you will hear the story of “Kunigunde” the castle ghost. Don’t worry people said she stopped playing tricks on us many years ago but I guess we'll never know...
